This multilayered painting allowed Jo to challenge herself by creating an entire piece using shades of green, with a little gold, because everyone knows that green and gold belong together.
Jo filmed the creation of Green over a day. Join her as she gets lost in layers with a gold finale which never gets old. This gilded touch glimmers against the jungle-themed backdrop.
Green packs a bright and bold punch and comes framed in white for extra freshness. Green is signed and is A4 size (21 x 29 cm). It comes with a white frame with plexi-glass to ensure safe travels.
Jo chose to focus on green for this painting because it's a colour that connects her deeply to nature. The vibrancy and variation of greens in the natural world inspire Jo and being surrounded herself with verdant greens boosts her mood and creativity.
The final touch was the addition of 23-carat gold leaf, which lends a lovely glistening pop of light and luxury. She loves how the metallic sheen plays off the rich greens.
